Love Vigilantes started in 2004 when 2
friends, Ricky ( aka Barney) and Brian ( aka Hooky) got
invited to fill out a bill in Seattle featuring 3 other
tribute bands. Since they both enjoyed New Order but had
never heard them live or had a chance to play New Order's
songs, they decided to form Love Vigilantes and have fun
playing the New Order songs they had heard since the 80's.
After the show unexpectedly sold out, they started to
receive lots of positive feedback and gigs. So they decided
to continue with the band playing Seattle and Portland.
Eventually they got invited to Southern California where
they're fan base exploded. Now they play sold out shows up
and down the west coast and are starting to make they're way
into the heartland with shows in Texas and Colorado in
summer 2008. |

The definitive New Order Tribute band from
the NW has been playing sold out shows on the west coast
from Seattle to Los Angeles in 80 to 2000 person rooms since
2004. Love Vigilantes are known for their exciting live
versions of songs from the early Joy Division days to the
latest New Order album including songs like "Perfect
Kiss" which New Order no longer performs. Positive
endorsements from New Order, Richard Blade ( DJ from 80's LA
and Sirius Radio), Blasphemous Rumours (Depeche Mode Tribute
from LA), the Sweet and Tender Hooligans (Smiths tribute
from LA), Superdiamond (Neil Diamond Tribute from San
Francisco) and several others assure an exciting and
